Nigerian-born Pablo Elochukwu, a three-time gold medal winner in the local Ontario grappling circuit. In his first MMA fight for an unsanctioned amateur event, Elochukwu began to show signs of fatigue in between the second and third round it was apparent that was almost completely out of gas.
In the third, the referee stopped the fight after was unintelligenty defending from a ground and pound with very soft hammer fists. After the round, When he sat down he was offered orange juice, fearing that his blood sugar may have dropped significantly. He then fell off the chair. Paramedics came and he was sent to the hospital where he passed away.
