ONE FC success UFC ZUFFA benefits...

The success of the new Asia MMA promotion ONE Fighting Championships, headed by entrepreneur Victor Cui is rapidly growing and getting new fanbase in the region. Very bold in making their statement by producing big events in 12,000-capacity Smart Araneta Coliseum, 20,000-seater Mall of Asia Arena, "Kings & Champions" 12,500-seater sellout. Then will be heading to a 55,000-capacity National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub in Kallang in April 2014.

Pulling together this large number of fight fanbase is a marketing signal and will be a good business move for ZUFFA or any Mixed Martial Arts organization to hold their live events in this region. News going around that KOTC will be expanding to Philippines.

So, is it just UFC who's benefiting from this? Everyone is.

Matt Mitrione's comment on gay Fallon Fox gets him suspended by UFC. WTF News!

Matt Mitrione openly stated his disgust over the open transgendered MMA fighter Fallon Fox. Saying Fox is still a man beating women in MMA fights.

The UFC heavyweight who just recorded a quick knockout over Philippe De fries, appeared on “The MMA Hour” and while on the air gave his thoughts on transgendered fighter, Fallon Fox.

“Because she’s not a he. He’s a he. He’s chromosomally a man. He had a gender change, not a sex change. He’s still a man. He was a man for 31 years. That’s a couple years younger than I am. He’s a man. Six years of taking performance de-hancing drugs, you think is going to change all that? That’s ridiculous. That is a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak. And I mean that. Because you lied on your license to beat up women. That’s disgusting. You should be embarrassed yourself. And the fact that Florida licensed him because California licensed him or whoever the hell did it, it’s an embarrassment to us as fighters, as a sport, and we all should protest that. The woman that’s fighting him, props to you. I hope you beat his ass, and I hope he gets blackballed and never fights again, because that’s disgusting and I’m appalled by that.”

UFC Zuffa big bosses did not like the statement and said UFC is a friend to the GAY community! WTF NEWS!

Fedor Emelianenko moves to UFC? The Last Emperor's last stand.

Once was considered the Baddest man in the planet, Russia's The Great Fedor Emelianenko's recent fights are showing that he can still bang on the same level with today's top world heavyweights. If he does moves to UFC, it is going to be considered long overdue.

Though not everyone supports this idea, as a fan of the sport I still wanted to see him bang with the likes of Randy Couture to test how his Sambo will survive Couture's Greco roman push you to the cage style plus dirty boxing. Emelianenko Vs Daniel Cormier, and of course for the bandwagon keyboard warriors Fedor Vs Brock Lesnar. Let's make him have his last stand.

READ you UFC DIE HARD FANS..! Main Reason why watching other MMA event's way better than UFC.

UFC definitely has the biggest names in mixed martial arts. The fighters who fought their way into the BIG LEAGUES, no argument these fighters are the best in the world, but the question is why are they giving poor performance compared to-when they were still fighting in smaller shows? Simple, afraid of getting that pink slip.

So if you wanted to see real fighting, fighters giving it all out to get noticed by uncle Dana. Watch Bellator, M-1. for example has animals signed up to them, world class Brazilian and Russian world bjj sambo or muay thai champions. See them bang and beat each other out. Most even entering with perfect or almost perfect records. Tha'ts where I want to watch real skills being showed. Pity those fighters now in UFC, they had the skills but just have to play it safe, now it's not about the fight but about the win.

[Amazing standing inverted triangle choke]

Greatest MMA Pound for Pound BLOODBATH. Fiercest battle and bloodiest fights.

Mixed-martial-arts is a very technical sport. A fighter's level of fighting must not rely in one style. In an MMA fighter's resume combinations like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu integrated with wrestling for grappling and ground games, plus muay thai integrated with boxing, taekwondo and karate for striking is always present and usually impressive. As the name goes for MMA, mixing disciplines and reacting on each style is a pound for pound factor. A world champion boxer got easily submitted with a guillotine choke by a thinking brawler.

That happens to a fighter that thinks one style. Boxers can't hit karatekas due to the distance karate stances make, and will need to improvise. Use wrestling instead to close the gap, tackle down the opponent and establish ground control to impose pounding at will. Being black belt grappler is not enough, a fighter must be clever on stitching techniques of different styles in a given situation. But techniques alone can't finish fights, its raw striking power.

Fighters train everyday to posses these deadly strikes. Once they combine technical fighting with raw power, here comes the blood bath. Fights don't get stopped that easily in MMA. Sometimes when a referee recognizes that the blood doesn't hinder the breathing or the eyesight of a fighter, they will have the fight continue until the round ends and have the cut checked.

One name always rises up when talking about bloody fights. Former UFC Lightweight Champion BJ "the prodigy" Penn is a household name in beating people up. This nat!ve of Hilo, Hawaii was a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion. Penn already fought in numerous 0rganzations around the world. He have this style of showing his supremacy by defeating opponents in all aspects of the fight. Penn is an aggressive fighter that goes toe-to-toe and slugs with the opponent. The only difference? Penn is the one hitting.

A very technical fighter with pro boxing experience, Penn delivers accurate punches on specific targeted areas. Fast kicks and punching combinations with fake takedown attempts confuses his opponents. After beating his opponent with his excellent stand-up striking he takes them down. Penn, a topnotch grappler and very dangerous in controlling opponents on the ground can establish full mount in seconds.

Once Penn gets the mount, he is relentless in his elbow strikes and punches. Hitting an opponent with a powerful elbow strike to the head can immediately open big bloody cuts. Joe Stevenson received a big cut on the forehead when he faced Penn in a UFC Lightweight championship battle. Stevenson ate one of Penn's right elbow late in the first round on a ground an pound situation. One of the nastiest cuts in UCF history. The cut bled so fast and was all over cage, painted the matt pink.

Another Penn victim was his December 12, 2009 fight at UFC 107 when Penn successfully defended his Lightweight title against the dangerous Ultimate Fighter winner Diego "the Nightmare" Sanchez. As expected, in a bloody fashion. Penn delivered a quick roundhouse kick that caught Sanchez in the forehead. Opening up Sanchez's head, showing his bloody skull. Thedoctors stopped the fight and awarded Penn the win.

BJ Penn is definitely the one dangerous fighter that delivers the hardest and bloodiest strikes to watch. With Penn still at the top of the food-chain. More bloody fights will surely come.

UFC Georges St Pierre Champion's heart questioned, why not go with Diaz? Scared homie?

Former Strikeforce welterweight champ and UFC pound for pound welterweight king were suppose to clash in UFC 137 for a battle of champions, originally scheduled October 15, 2011 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. ZUFFA knew that this will be a big sellout since these two guys are both at the top of their divisions. But the thing is GSP is always in a very dangerous position against the bad boy from Cali, Diaz's style is built to NEGATE all of GSP's tools.

This puts ZUFFA in a thinking situation, they don't want to loss the ongoing hype about the Anderson Silva Vs GSP Superfight. Although it kind of went down when people saw how slow and telegraph St Pierre's punching are and he doesn't have power on those hands when he fought Jake Shields. It even became a joke because before that fight GSP said "don't blink", and the people didn't blink and saw what? GSP landed his best shots to a very flat footed guy's chin and nothing happened. People then realize GSP against Silva is irrelevant anymore because it showed he really isn't in Silva's level. So MMA fans are now crying for Silva vs Jones instead.

ZUFFA realized the best opponent to give GSP's credibility back is by fighting the next top guy in the division. But as expected UFC will always find a reason so their prized fighter wont be in a dangerous beat-down situation. Smells like Mayweather Jr or the likes of Lesnar I'm in then I'm out marketingstrategy.

GSP is in danger because..
His boxing is so slow and it won't work against Diaz. Diaz fought Zaromskis and Daley in their own game and he made them look like amateurs. He was able to slip through their fast strikes and countered effectively. GSP is methodical in his approach and wins, he wont fight you standing if your a striker and wont fight grappling if your good in the ground.

* With Penn he used his size since Penn is fast and good in striking, lay and pray style.
* With Kosch he used boxing, Koscheck can out-wrestle GSP. (tho he lost before.. think?)
* With Hardy, tried submitting him but then it showed to grappling world that GSP doesn't know how to pull one of the most basic submission "arm bar". He tried pulling Hardy's arm downwards the body position instead of pulling it up.
* With Shields, box with him since he knows how good Shields control with wrestlers on the ground and his flawless submission. Shields easily manhandled Henderson on the ground.

Ok. So that would mean, he can't box with Diaz it would look like another Silva Vs Griffin, He can't shoot and wrestle because when it comes to the ground GSP knows what this Gracie bad boy can do.

So the question now goes to Mr. Georges St-Pierre. Champions fight champions... Champions seek to fight other champions to prove superiority. Are you into that? or you're just another Mayweather Jr? It's not a question of I can't and won't fight him because... because of this because of that. But the question is will you fight him? Go the Pacquiao way and seek the best, make it happen! Are you scared Homie?

Fedor Emelianenko Vs Dan Henderson: 5 Reasons people need to see this historic MMA battle.

1. This MMA square off will determine who needs to retire from the sport. Everyone is saying that the great emperor should hang the gloves. We'll see.
2. Henderson's wrestling matches Fedor's Sambo. This is exciting!
3. Can Henderson catch Fedor with the "H-Bomb". Fedor is a tactician and definitely respects that power.
4. Can Fedor still deliver..?
5. Fedor is still relevant and will definitely give ZUFFA excellent revenue when they handle Fedor Emelianenko in fighter/promotion/PPV marketing.

ZUFFA knows how to sell the worst fighter, even if on paper a fighter shows lots of loss record or he gets knocked out in his last fight. With good marketing they can still make you look good... because people buy the stories they read on "Press Releases" thinking those were real news but instead are products being marketed. If Zuffa gets Fedor its a WIN WIN WIN situation..triple win! UFC, Fedor, and the fans.

TUF International: UFC Philippines "The Ultimate Fighter" update.

Dana White just said it, so definitely the first International TUF Season will be in Philippines. This big MMA event will show the world if Philippines has their own version of Manny Pacquiao in Martial Arts... or will they produce one. If you look closely how Philippine fighters grapple, sprawl, choke, elbow, kick, punch then you'd see A LOT of ALDO like fighters. Quick, crisp, technical striking plus powerful sprawling. Philippines ain't just BOXING country but a Combat sports Nation. Read this Country's History then you'd know!

Pinoy has World Muay Thai champions like Ole Baguio Laursen fighting in ESPN's MMA Martial Combat (now ONE FC). Former Martial Combat Lightweight champion Eduard Folayang, who is also a World Wushu Champion will definitely crush lightweights signed in UFC. URCC and Fearless MMA promotions can give quality fighters from Baguio's Team Lakay, YawYan Ardigma, Pinoy Top Team, Gracie Barra, and powerhouse DEFTAC. Hell yeah! and that is aside from UFC's Mark Munoz, Brandon Vera, Philippe Nover and Strikeforce undefeated HeavyWeight (World Muay Thai Champ) Shane Del Rosario.

The Ultimate Fighter: The Ultimate Fighter is an American reality television series and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition produced by Spike TV and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The show features unknown, professional MMA fighters living together in Las Vegas, Nevada, and follows them as they train and compete against each other for a prized contract with the UFC. Aoki's MMA Pound-for-pound Rude Awakening

Aoki's MMA Pound-for-pound Rude Awakening
By: Sifu Joomla

Dream Lightweight Champion Shinya "Tobikan Judan" Aoki shocked the world when he broke Sengoku Lightweight Champion Mizuto Hirota's arm on purpose then made the dirty finger on Hirota's face and ran around the ring giving the whole of Japan a new year's nasty welcoming. Aoki's very disturbing un-sportsman conduct after the fight overshadowed his superior grappling skills. Aoki the WAMMA undisputed lightweight champion showed sick Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills by submitting Hirota via reverse kimura (arm lock) with both legs on an almost like body triangle controlling Hirota's posture and putting more pressure on the locks.

This Lightweight megafight between DREAM and Senguko champions was one of the highlights on the New Year MMA pound for pound Fields Dynamite K-1 event. A very anticipated lightweight battle that had both fighters on a heated exchange of words, giving more spice and excitement. Senguko's Hirota is a powerful technical striker who posses a one punch knockout power and utilizes his legs and knees as a dangerous weapon. Aoki wasted no time in taking the fight to the ground. He did not give Hirota any chance to throw those vicious strikes. Aoki immediately shoot for a single leg takedown and got successful when they hit the ropes. Pulled Hirota's body down and established full mount position in seconds. Aoki controlled Hirota's right arm by holding the hands at the back of his body giving Aoki the free ticket. Aoki's control gave him open shots on Hirotas head. Aoki pulled Hirota's arm and continued on twisting even after hearing the bones snapped. Hirota did not tap even when he still had the chance, prompting Aoki to continue on his submission. Hirota's MMA lvl of fighting is no match to Aokis' Jiu jitsu. Aoki has already fought big grappling competitions and faced the likes of WAMMA Undisputed Heavyweight pound-for-pound Fedor Emelianenko.

The Aoki middle finger incident and new year's bone breaking treat received a lot of mixed reactions. Aoki went over the line when he broke Hirota's arms even when he heard the first bones snapped. The MMA community is asking the organizations to look into this. Aoki fought on emotions, and it is very very dangerous for an MMA fighter to get emotional. He might loose control and hit the opponent on illegal areas or break some bones on purpose. The very disturbing after fight antics followed when Aoki celebrated by showing the dirty finger to the Japan crowd and pointed his arm showboating the submission win. A rude awakening will come to Shinya Aoki's way when the whole of MMA community and combat sports world rally against his disturbing act of violence inside the ring. I can still recall Aoki calling out BJ Penn and saying he can handle Penn's level of fighting. If that’s the case, give the showboat his fight so he gets to experience the Hawaiian beating. That's awakening.

Dynamite!! K-1 MMA Welcomes 2010 with cracked balls & broken bones

Dynamite!! MMA Welcomes 2010: cracked balls & broken bones
by: Sifu Joomla

December 31st 2009 Japan welcomes the new year with a very powerful card. The Fields Dynamite!! 2009 is an annual K-1 and MMA mega-fight event. The best MMA pound for pound fighters and K-1 strikers meet in Saitama Japan Super Arena for the tournament Grand Prix championships, DREAM versus Sengoku featuring Strikeforce’s Heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem, WAMMA Undisputed Lightweight Champion Grappling sensation Shinya Aoki Vs Mizuta Hirota, Light Heavyweight Champion Gerard Mousasi Vs PRIDE/UFC Veteran Gary Goodridge, Koushien Finale, and the much anticipated main event trilogy ending between Japan's 2-time K-1 World Grand Prix Champion Masato on his retirement fight against nemesis Andy Souwer of Netherlands. Souwer also a 2-time world champion defeated Masato by Unanimous decision in 2006 and by a TKO in 2007 Grand Prix Championship battle. Masato aimed for a sweet retirement win over Souwer.

Dynamite event starts 6pm on the 31st until midnight new years eve for the main card, and welcome 2010 with the two best pound-for-pound strikers going toe-to-toe in a big drama behind the face-off K-1 mega-fight. Kicked-off with Koushien Japan under 18 Finale. Shota Shimada and Masaaki Noiri traded powerful strikes in the championship rounds. Shimada lost to Noiri's superior technical striking and relentless attacks via unanimous decision after the three two-minute round K-1 rules Under 18 finale. A preview on Japan's upcoming superstars.

Super Hulk Championships followed with U.S.A Team Quest's Judo ace and sinister ground-and-pound specialist Sokoudjou advancing to the finals after he defeats 2005 Japan GP Champion former NFL/WWE star Bob Sapp in an excellent display of ground control and brutal pounding. Cameroon native Sokoudjou squares-off with Japan's Minowaman. Ikuhisa Minowa is the smallest competitor in the Super Hulk Tournament, advanced to the finals by defeating Korean kickboxing 7'2" giant Seoul GP winner Hong-man Choi. In the finals Minowaman dictated Sokoudjou's fast pace by controling the distance. Sokoudjou dropped Minowaman with a powerful right and almost submitted him with a rear naked choke in the 1st round. Minowa answered a quick bell beating toe lock on the 2nd and finally finished the fight with a speed blinding punch that caught the Cameroon Judo master off-guard. A New Years Knockout celebration followed.

The MMA Dream Vs Sengoku continued on recording knockouts and sick grappling exhibition. Team Sengoku recorded the first three wins including the win over famous UFC veteran multi organization champion Hayato Sakurai. Akihiro Gono displayed top level athleticism and attacked Sakurai with a very slick arm-bar submission. The 3 fight Sengoku winning streak was halted when Melvin Manhoef took the ring and gave Kazuo Misaki a devastating beat-down, prompting the referee for a quick stoppage. Team DREAM continued winning and answered with a 3 fighter win rally. Hidehiko Yoshida welcomes Japan's number one Olympic judo star Satoshi Ishii to MMA world, but backfires with a crushing knee to the balls. Fight was stopped and eventually restarted after replacing Yoshida's cap. OUCH! Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem of Holland on a very out-classed battle versus Japan's Champion wrestler Kazuyuki Fujita. Overeem Knockouts Fujita with a very vicious knee in the first round. Dream Vs Sengoku tournament finishes off with its two Lightweight champions battling for supremacy. Shinya Aoki submitted Hirota with a very nasty reverse arm-lock. Aoki easily drops Hirota to the ground and established control on the hapless Sengoku Lightweight champion. Aoki broke Hirotas shoulder first by pulling off the arm on Hirota's back, with both legs controlling the posture a la body triangle. Aoki continued on the submission breaking Hirota's arm and literally pulled it off his joints. Aoki made a very un-sportsman conduct afterwards, giving Hirota's face the middle finger. Aoki ran off the ring celebrating his sick win.

One of the Highlights before the main event was the meeting of two MMA greats, Gegard Mousasi Vs Gary Goodridge. The fight did not stand the hype. Goodridge was not in shape for a fight and Mousasi beat Goodridge in a one sided battle.

2010 Midnight. Masato faces K-1's toughest striker in his retirement fight. Masato must win over the man who defeated him twice. Andy Souwer battered Masato the whole five-round battle. Masato's edge was only when he knocked-down the out balanced Souwer on a beautiful counter. Andy Souwer still managed to throw his kick on the way down. If judged by most powerful strikes and without the knockdown Souwer could have stolen the celebration. One Big party for Japan and an applause on Masato's sweetest retirement win.
