Caught on tape! MMA referee decision making and clear bias controversy, What now Commissioner?

"Steve Mazzagatti is the worst referree" said UFC President Dana White. True! If there's a controversy then it's Mazzagatti. UFC 81: Breaking Point, bout between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir. When Mazzagatti stood up the fight after Lesnar hit Mir in the back of the head, and for NOT stopping the fight quickly when he tapped out. And at UFC Fight Night 14: Silva vs. Irvin, when Anthony Johnson was repeatedly poked in the eye by Kevin Burns, resulting with Johnson could no longer continue fighting, Mazzagatti stopped the fight, giving Burns the TKO victory. The infamous "time-out" in Rob McCullough vs. Jamie Varner WEC Lightweight title fight in order to get Varner's mouth piece back in, then allowed him to recover.

"Mazzagatti, as a referee?" White said. "This f**king guy shouldn't even be watching MMA on TV, let alone refereeing it. I think he's the worst ref in the history of any fight business, ever. He's horrible. We don't pick the refs. The athletic commission does. Those guys are picked by the government. It's not that I don't like him, he's a nice guy. He's an absolute nice guy, he has no business whatsoever being anywhere near mixed martial arts."

The other pound for pound worst ref is Dan Miraggliota, this guy took Steve's throne. I can't stop laughing when I watch that fight when Miragliotta kept on saving Dan hardy from harm. When Hardy was ground and pounded, they were stood-up. Then everyone was like, what the? Then when a flying knee came, Miragliotta came to the rescue and pushed Hardys opponent. So he wont get hit! What's with protecting Hardy? Then when I read the video's title it was "Gay referee saves his lover!". Funny! Now let's ask the commission. What's the commission's say?

Greatest MMA Pound for Pound BLOODBATH. Fiercest battle and bloodiest fights.

Mixed-martial-arts is a very technical sport. A fighter's level of fighting must not rely in one style. In an MMA fighter's resume combinations like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu integrated with wrestling for grappling and ground games, plus muay thai integrated with boxing, taekwondo and karate for striking is always present and usually impressive. As the name goes for MMA, mixing disciplines and reacting on each style is a pound for pound factor. A world champion boxer got easily submitted with a guillotine choke by a thinking brawler.

That happens to a fighter that thinks one style. Boxers can't hit karatekas due to the distance karate stances make, and will need to improvise. Use wrestling instead to close the gap, tackle down the opponent and establish ground control to impose pounding at will. Being black belt grappler is not enough, a fighter must be clever on stitching techniques of different styles in a given situation. But techniques alone can't finish fights, its raw striking power.
Fighters train everyday to posses these deadly strikes. Once they combine technical fighting with raw power, here comes the blood bath. Fights don't get stopped that easily in MMA. Sometimes when a referee recognizes that the blood doesn't hinder the breathing or the eyesight of a fighter, they will have the fight continue until the round ends and have the cut checked.

One name always rises up when talking about bloody fights. Former UFC Lightweight Champion BJ "the prodigy" Penn is a household name in beating people up. This nat!ve of Hilo, Hawaii was a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion. Penn already fought in numerous 0rganzations around the world. He have this style of showing his supremacy by defeating opponents in all aspects of the fight. Penn is an aggressive fighter that goes toe-to-toe and slugs with the opponent. The only difference? Penn is the one hitting.

A very technical fighter with pro boxing experience, Penn delivers accurate punches on specific targeted areas. Fast kicks and punching combinations with fake takedown attempts confuses his opponents. After beating his opponent with his excellent stand-up striking he takes them down. Penn, a topnotch grappler and very dangerous in controlling opponents on the ground can establish full mount in seconds.

Once Penn gets the mount, he is relentless in his elbow strikes and punches. Hitting an opponent with a powerful elbow strike to the head can immediately open big bloody cuts. Joe Stevenson received a big cut on the forehead when he faced Penn in a UFC Lightweight championship battle. Stevenson ate one of Penn's right elbow late in the first round on a ground an pound situation. One of the nastiest cuts in UCF history. The cut bled so fast and was all over cage, painted the matt pink.

Another Penn victim was his December 12, 2009 fight at UFC 107 when Penn successfully defended his Lightweight title against the dangerous Ultimate Fighter winner Diego "the Nightmare" Sanchez. As expected, in a bloody fashion. Penn delivered a quick roundhouse kick that caught Sanchez in the forehead. Opening up Sanchez's head, showing his bloody skull. Thedoctors stopped the fight and awarded Penn the win.
BJ Penn is definitely the one dangerous fighter that delivers the hardest and bloodiest strikes to watch. With Penn still at the top of the food-chain. More bloody fights will surely come.

ZUFFA's Strikeforce lifeline. "The Mayans Prediction" ... its 2012.

Free UFC MMA PPV TV
Live Martial Arts TV

Funny, right? We don't need these predictions to know when its going to end. Everything's pretty clear and history tells us how Zuffa LLC deals with their MMA competition's buyout.

"Business as usual". The same words come out, then after a few months business is gone. When ZUFFA purchased PRIDE, they said business as usual. Then fighters were jumping to the other promotion and the other one is dying.. then gone. Same as WEC, weight classes were removed and fighters went to UFC. Then gone. So are we going to expect differently with Strikeforce's fate? Same words right? Same fate.

Showtime's dea1 with Strikeforce will end 2012 and their champions are already jumping to UFC. Same road, same results. Guess the Mayans predicted it right, and its 2012.

Here's a bit of history of ZUFFA purchases..
IFL - In July 2008, there were reports of the IFL's possible purchase by the UFC. That same month, Joe Favorito, former IFL senior vice president, cited financial troubles for the closing of the company on July 31, 2008. Anonymous sources stated that Zuffa had bought the IFL. Other reports cited the UFC's airing of IFL footage on its programming, and the signing of previous IFL fighters, as an indirect confirmation of the purchase.

WFA - On December 11, 2006, Zuffa acquired the ass3ts of the World Fighting Alliance, and formed WFA Enterprises, LLC. as a subsidiary to handle these ass3ts, including select fighter contracts. On the same day, it was reported that Zuffa was formalizing plans to buy World Extreme Cagefighting, to be run as a separate promotion from the UFC.

WEC - Following the purchase of the WEC, Zuffa made several changes to the promotion. Including modifying the WEC's cage, transferred a focus on lighter weight classes, gave the ability to host events in Las Vegas, and the championships of fighters who were contracted UFC fighters were vacated. On October 28, 2010 Dana White announced that the WEC would be merging with the UFC in early 2011.

Pride Fighting Championships - On March 27, 2007, it was announced that Frank Fertitta III and Lorenzo Fertitta were acquiring the assets of Pride Fighting Championships, the UFC's largest rival, from Dream Stage Entertainment. To handle the take over, the Fertitta brothers created a new corporate entity to handle the ass3ts, Pride FC Worldwide Holdings LLC. With common ownership in place, Zuffa and Pride Worldwide would be working closely together. Although goals of reviving Pride were not realized, many of Pride's assets, including contracts with fighters and intellectualproperty, are now regularly utilized by the UFC. **

Lorenzo Fertitta is the company’s CEO and Chairman while Dana White runs the day-to-day operations. Zuffa is co-owned by Fertitta brothers (40.5% each), Dana White (9%) and Sheik Tahnoon of Abu Dhabi (Flash Entertainment) (10%).**
"Who knows what's going to happen? The way this thing works is, it depends on Showtime. The ball's in their court. They need to decide whether they want to keep Strikeforce around or not," Dana White.

“Extends to 2014″ does not necessarily mean that the original term does not end in 2012-Showtime may just have option to extend for 2yr term." Fight Lawyer.

Now you can defend yourself and fight those muggers! Learn street MMA.

The world is not a safe place, it's the truth and we have to accept it. Open your TV and watch the news, you'd see a lot of them. We just can't trust every person around us, we don't know what they're thinking. Muggers are bullies with knives that wants more and has the guts to do it. And they will!

The first defense is always running away. Don't fight back, run! But what will you do when you are already trapped in a situation and running isn't an option anymore? You got to learn how to turn the situation into your advantage, but how? All you need to learn is how to use your environment as your ally and your knowledge as your offense.

Street MMA - The principles of Mixed Martial Arts as applied for non-sport situations. There seem to be fewer mixed martial artists interested in this as compared to sport MMA, though the number of practitioners is growing. In practice, many, though not all, of the persons doing this come from a Jeet Kune Do background, and sometimes call what they do Jeet Kune Do (ex. Matt Thornton, Erik Paulson)

Most Street MMAers believe that sport MMA merely needs some changes in strategy (less emphasis on staying on the ground, more weapons awareness) and the addition of some techniques to become highly effective for the street. By far the most common addition to street-oriented MMA is Filipino martial art (FMA) training, due to its emphasis on, and practical use of weaponry, primarily the stick and knife.

UFC Georges St Pierre Champion's heart questioned, why not go with Diaz? Scared homie?

Free UFC MMA PPV TV
Former Strikeforce welterweight champ and UFC pound for pound welterweight king were suppose to clash in UFC 137 for a battle of champions, originally scheduled October 15, 2011 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. ZUFFA knew that this will be a big sellout since these two guys are both at the top of their divisions. But the thing is GSP is always in a very dangerous position against the bad boy from Cali, Diaz's style is built to NEGATE all of GSP's tools.

This puts ZUFFA in a thinking situation, they don't want to loss the ongoing hype about the Anderson Silva Vs GSP Superfight. Although it kind of went down when people saw how slow and telegraph St Pierre's punching are and he doesn't have power on those hands when he fought Jake Shields. It even became a joke because before that fight GSP said "don't blink", and the people didn't blink and saw what? GSP landed his best shots to a very flat footed guy's chin and nothing happened. People then realize GSP against Silva is irrelevant anymore because it showed he really isn't in Silva's level. So MMA fans are now crying for Silva vs Jones instead.

ZUFFA realized the best opponent to give GSP's credibility back is by fighting the next top guy in the division. But as expected UFC will always find a reason so their prized fighter wont be in a dangerous beat-down situation. Smells like Mayweather Jr or the likes of Lesnar I'm in then I'm out marketingstrategy.

GSP is in danger because..
His boxing is so slow and it won't work against Diaz. Diaz fought Zaromskis and Daley in their own game and he made them look like amateurs. He was able to slip through their fast strikes and countered effectively. GSP is methodical in his approach and wins, he wont fight you standing if your a striker and wont fight grappling if your good in the ground.

* With Penn he used his size since Penn is fast and good in striking, lay and pray style.
* With Kosch he used boxing, Koscheck can out-wrestle GSP. (tho he lost before.. think?)
* With Hardy, tried submitting him but then it showed to grappling world that GSP doesn't know how to pull one of the most basic submission "arm bar". He tried pulling Hardy's arm downwards the body position instead of pulling it up.
* With Shields, box with him since he knows how good Shields control with wrestlers on the ground and his flawless submission. Shields easily manhandled Henderson on the ground.

Ok. So that would mean, he can't box with Diaz it would look like another Silva Vs Griffin, He can't shoot and wrestle because when it comes to the ground GSP knows what this Gracie bad boy can do.

So the question now goes to Mr. Georges St-Pierre. Champions fight champions... Champions seek to fight other champions to prove superiority. Are you into that? or you're just another Mayweather Jr? It's not a question of I can't and won't fight him because... because of this because of that. But the question is will you fight him? Go the Pacquiao way and seek the best, make it happen! Are you scared Homie?

Why is Floyd Mayweather Jr often called "Gayweather"? Top 5 reasons.

Free UFC MMA PPV TV Live Boxing TV!Free UFC MMA PPV TV Live MMA TV!

Try to visit any combat sports website that has boxing in it. You'd get comments for sure, about Floyd Mayweather Jr's actions. Go to youtube or any social-networking sites. The world wide web reacted and everyone reacted big time. So whats with Floyd Jr.? He's the undefeated boxing prodigy, right? So why are we getting these comments denying him his number 1 pound for pound claim. One keyword always come up in every page "Gayweather". Here are the most common reasons why..

1. He's not working and not even helping to make the fight with Pacquiao happen, but instead NEVER runs-out of reason for the fight not to.

2. He's just after the publicity and hates it that Manny Pacquiao gets all the attention. He needs it for marketing value and still be relevant to the sport.

3. He fights a lousy game, he'd rather win with another "reason" "because of... because that... because its legal". The people wants to see some boxing.. fight right and make the fight interesting. Not just win "because of".. but win beating up your opponent to prove superiority.

4. He fights lower weight division fighters and fought elite fighters that were out of their prime.

5. Floyd Jr is a woman beater. He was accused of domestic abuse against the mother of three of his children. Mayweather was also charged with grand larceny for taking the woman’s iPhone.

The police report from that night details how Mayweather’s kids escaped the house and ran to a nearby guard station — and in the video, you can see all three kids entering the station.
Police cars can be seen pulling up and, about 15 minutes later, Harris can be seen being taken out on a stretcher as she clutches her head.
